Abacus AI Bot works on Windows, Mac, and Linux. You’ll need to install the desktop app from bot.abacus.ai.
Yes. Abacus AI Bot can keep working while you’re away from your laptop. Since it is a client-side app, your laptop needs to stay powered on and connected to the internet for the Bot to continue running.
You get 2,000 free Abacus AI credits to use with the app. Once you run out, you can either upgrade your Abacus.AI subscription or connect your own LLM APIs.
Yes. We don’t ask for your credit card details. You can also connect your own API keys and start using them directly.

Permissions depend on the connector.
For messaging apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and Discord, you connect your own account to Abacus AI Bot. This can include permission to read, send, and receive messages, set up auto-replies, and more. You can disconnect these connections from your phone at any time.
For other connectors, you’ll go through the service’s official OAuth flow and see the exact permissions being requested before you approve them.
Yes. Your data is private.
No. Your data is not used to train AI models.
Your transcripts, crash logs, reports, and related data are sent to Abacus.AI’s servers. However, your API keys and credentials never leave your computer.
